On Friday we accompanied La Finca Choir to a hotel in Tegucigalpa where they performed several songs for a bank company’s Christmas dinner.

A challenging project for Dwain and Harlan this week involved fixing the brakes on the Horst’s truck. Fixing a truck in Honduras is not quite as simple as repairing one in the States. After traveling to Tegucigalpa several times for supplies, exploring the auto-related shops in Valle de Angeles and making many phone calls, they are finally waiting on a part to be FedExed from Ephrata Auto Parts in Pennsylvania.

Audrey’s teaching days with the Horst children are winding down – six school days remaining until the Horsts leave to spend several weeks in the States. By the time they return to La Finca, we will be back in the States.
